Society expects more when it comes to, well, everything and it's not going to slow down anytime soon! The 'real-world' can be a scary place but we don't want you to run away from those fears. The most important investment one can make in life is in themselves. In order to remain ahead of the game, it is critical that you adapt to your environment. Millennials and younger generations are too often stigmatized for being 'lazy', 'entitled', and a too technologically attached. While the latter might be true, you would not be here if that were not the case.
At Gen-Achievers, our articles are honest. Sometimes… too honest. The content will include a focus towards our audiences' interests, and will constantly change based on current events. The primary philosophy behind our brand is rooted from our current careers, academic studies, and personal experiences.
Our world is changing at such a rapid pace that it's impossible to know exactly how to prepare for what the future is going to hold. Society will soon be dependable on millennials & younger generations, and it's important that we all continue to learn, adapt, and create opportunity. In an environment consumed by social media, let's show that we can use it to our advantage by educating one another!
This blog is our hope of creating a community of those who want to become lifelong learners in this ever-changing market. This is meant to not only provide you with potential ideas of becoming well-versed in a particular area, but to also spread your personal expertise and network with like-minded people. We plan to remain knowledgeable by discussing current issues, relevant topics, and applied information.

In today's society, people our age and those who are younger have been given a stigma that we are "lazy" and "dependent" if we do not hold a particular title, salary, status, etc. However, we've come to learn that many of us are on the right path to success, are already doing great things, and are in need of some additional support from others. Here's an example that you can consider, and how we realize people across all levels can be successful:
A student pursuing a medical degree is on the verge of becoming a cardiologist, and comes from a family history of doctors, but is unable to break out of paying an overwhelming amount of student loans. Though a soon-to-be doctor, they are stuck living at home since their loans are forcing them to do so. On the other side of the spectrum, an individual with a family history of blue collar workers just became an electrician after going to trade school for only two years, and has been able to start their own company because of no debt holding them down. After a few months, they have been able to grow their business exponentially, and will be making close to six figures at the end of the year.
You may think that these people have nothing in common, but we believe otherwise. While the medical student has had a successful educational career and can provide suggestions to the electrician on pursuing post-secondary opportunities as well as health related tips, the electrician can share insight on paying off student loans more effectively. And just like this example, we believe that people need to educate & support one another if we want to remove the pressures and perceptions that society has placed on all of us - we must continue to become well-rounded individuals, similar to the generations before us.
Are you someone who believes they (or someone else) have an interesting story that can support others going through similar pathways and/or are in need of some insight? We'd love to hear from you!
