Quick Tips For A Better You

1. Don't treat your investments like gambling. Yes, stocks can be volatile with their patterns, but don't assume that you shouldn't do your research before you invest in particular companies. Read up on the current news with these businesses, and learn where exactly your money is going. You wouldn't purchase a car before learning all about it - this shouldn't be any different.
2. Stretch before you go to bed every night. You maybe sore for the first few days, but believe me, your body will thank you in the long haul. You don't have to perform yoga poses like Eka Hasta Vrksasana (the One Handed Tree Pose) to maintain a healthy posture or balance - sometimes being simple can be just as helpful.
3. If you love coffee like me, you should try to drink it black instead of putting in creamer. You'll probably have to get used to the taste, but black coffee is better for your overall health. If you still can't stand the taste of it, put in some cinnamon or honey, which are likely healthier alternatives than any of the creamers you have in your fridge right now. There are a boatload of positive statistics associated with drinking black coffee, but here are a few that might sway you into drinking it this way now:
- Black coffee can help with your performance in the gym
- It can boost your memory as well as reduce stress & depression
- It is often said that drinking black coffee can help fight off hunger
4. Make sure you check all of your banking, credit card, and investment accounts every morning or evening. It's important to get into a pattern of understanding your short-term & long-term goals as well as remaining alert for potential hackers and scammers who may attempt to take your personal information.
5. If you have a long commute to-and-from work, listen to podcasts and YouTube content that will educate or motivate you. Music can bring out positive vibes in all of us, but you should always try to learn something that is important in your life. For instance, I am always waiting for the next Andre Jikh video release. Andre creates informational financial content on YouTube, which he publishes every Monday and Friday.
6. Don't buy or lease a brand new car. There's not much I'm going to say with this one, except don't do it....
